About the Third Practice Website

The 3P website was constructed and designed by Escapement Arts & Media, a Richmond, Virginia based creative technology firm.

The webserver uses a full compliment of high-grade, professionally oriented web management software, including PHP, MySQL, and perl. All of these software packages are completely free (visit fsf.org for more information on free software). The 3P Site itself is a custom web application, written from scratch by Escapement. The site also has an administrator interface that allows for the site's content to be changed on-the-fly.

The Tag Sound was composed by Matthew McCabe using ProTools and is here presented as an audio-only Macromedia Flash movie.

All of the site's content was written and/or revised by Benjamin Broening. The design was concieved and realized by Matthew McCabe, and the backend programming was done by Matt Avitable. Thanks to Kathy Panoff for acting as our preview audience.
