The Hotel

The Hotel is the Richmond Crowne Plaza, located at 6531 West Broad Street in Richmond, VA. The Hotel's phone number is (804)285-9951. Third Practice attendees will be able to acquire a room at a reduced rate of $69.00 for each night, but please mention "Third Practice" when making reservations.

Our block of rooms are reserved on the following nights:

• Thursday, November 2, 2006
• Friday, November 3, 2006
• Saturday, November 4, 2006

All rooms are appointed with coffee maker, iron and board, and a hair dryer. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily for hotel guests. Other features of the hotel include High-Speed Internet in all rooms, 802.11b wireless access in the lobby, a full restaurant and lounge, indoor pool and jacuzzi, and a well-equipped workout area.

Reserving Rooms

In order to receive this special rate, participants must call the hotel directly at (804)285-9951. Participants should be sure to identify themselves with the "Third Practice" group.

Reservations must be made no later than October 10, 2006 in order to obtain the group rate.

Additional Information

The best airport to fly into is Richmond International Airport (RIC).
There will be no shuttle service to and from the hotel during the festival.
Unfortunately, There are no hotels within walking distance of the campus.
